Very last blog assignment

I am blogging about how I liked and disliked my blog.

I liked blogging for my Reading homework because everyone can see what your reading and what you are thinking about while you are reading it. That way you can see if you would like the book too. We can also save paper because that way we don't have to use home reading sheets.

I disliked blogging for my Reading homework because you always had to remember to do it on your own because you would not see it in your folder when you went to do your math homework. If you didn't remember to do it then you would get a 0%.

What I think about doing a blog is that it's fun. I like it and I think we should do it again next year. Your friends can see it too and even follow it if they wanted to.You also get to learn how to type faster. If I hadn't typed other blogs before this it would have taken me 30 min. Now it only took me 10. It's been really fun doing this instead of a home reading sheet.

I am reading Warriors by Erin Hunter. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict, Graypaw will not want to eat anything for a while because when he was trying to help Firepaw by bringing YellowFang her food, TigerClaw spotted him and told him to eat the mice even though he had already eaten.

My prediction was right! Graypaw did not eat breakfast the next day. While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, What does Bluestar still not trust in Yellowfang? The book did not answer my question so I inferred. I inferred that maybe Shadowclan sent her as a spy. But wouldn't she have left by now if she was? My second question was, Why had TigerClaw sent Firepaw on his hunting assessment so close to the Twoleg nests? I inferred and in the book Firepaw asked himself the same thing that maybe he was testing him to see if he would want to live there again. I bet he was hoping he did want to live there again.

TigerClaw sent Firepaw and his friends each on an assessment. Ravenpaw caught an adder and Firepaw caught up with an old friend from his old home.

I am reading Warriors Into the Wild by Erin Hunter. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict Bluestar will ask her medicine cat SpottedLeaf to speak to Starclan and find out why YellowFang is not part of Shadowclan anymore. I think this because YellowFang will not tell her why and so she might still want to find out why an enemy cat is intruding on her territory.

My prediction was wrong. Bluestar did not ask SpottedLeaf to speak with Starclan. While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, What does "casualties" mean? I couldn't figure this out so I asked my mom. She said they're the ones who get wounded in a war. My second question was, Why doesn't Tigerclaw like Firepaw. I inferred that he probably still doesn't like him just because he's a kittypet or was one.

Firepaw helped YellowFang with her ticks and went hunting. After he got back he and his friends settled down to eat.

I am reading Warriors Into the Wild By Erin Hunter. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict that YellowFang will tell Thunderclan all of Shadowclans secrets and then Thunderclan will ask her to be a spy for them. I think this because, Technically she is not part of Shadowclan any more but Shadowclan probably doesn't know this so it would be easy to go in there and act casual and then leave again knowing all of their secrets to go and tell Thunderclan.

My prediction was wrong. She said that she would never betray her birth clan and that she would be leaving as soon as she felt better. While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, How is taking care of an elder a punishment? My answer is also a connection because, Once I had to take care of my grandma because she had a horrible cold and it really wasn't that bad. Oh! Now I know why she didn't want to tell her clans secrets! She didn't want to upset Starclan (the cats warrior ancestors) because she is a medicine cat and medicine cats are not supposed to be involved in clan feuds!! My second question was, What does "Deaden" mean? I read around the word and I inferred that it meant over do.

Firepaw's punishment was to look after and take care of YellowFang. Apparently she doesn't like being looked after. She is giving Firepaw a very hard time. Bluestar the leader of Thunderclan is now Firepaw's mentor. When a couple of kits were playing outside of the nursery one of the kits accidentally barreled into YellowFang. She jumped up and gave a ferocious hiss. The kit was so frightened that it ran back to the nursery. As for the other kit it ran away as well. The mother of the kits starred furiously at her. When Firepaw asked her why she did that she said she didn't like kits and that for some reason every time a kit was around her something bad happened to it.

I am reading Warriors Into the Wild By Erin Hunter. before I read I have a prediction. I predict that Firepaw will get in to trouble like get into a fight or eat before he feeds the clan or even get hit by a car and have his leg broken or something. I think this because, he is a young apprentice and he doesn't know what to do in some situations. He also could be spooked or black mailed by another cat in his clan.

My prediction was right! he got into a fight with what he thinks is a rogue. While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, Why did she want him to kill her? The book said and I agreed that she would have died in a couple of days so what was the point of killing her. She wasn't doing anything any ways. My second question was, What punishment will Firepaw get for feeding a rogue and himself before the rest of the clan? I predict that it will be that he will not get to eat that night. Yes! I was right again! He doesn't get to eat and so he will just have to go hungry tonight. I have a connection. When I don't follow the rules in my house I don't get to watch T.V. that night.

Firepaw went looking for the strange cat that he smelled when something plunged out of the bushes and attacked him from behind. It was the cat he had scented earlier. He went limp and right when she let go of him thinking he was dead he leaped to his paws on planted a blow on her back legs. she let out a yowl and collapsed to the ground. She said to him " Kill me now. Or are you afraid of killing a scrawny old cat like me? " He didn't like being taunted like a kittypet but he could sense the fear inside her and that she needed help. He caught her a rabbit and finished up the scraps. Then some Thunderclan warriors showed up and they both were in trouble. Firepaw was punished and Yellowfang was taken as prisoner.

I am reading Warriors Into the Wild By Erin Hunter. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict That Firepaw will get into a big fight with another cat from another clan. I predict this because he is a new apprentice and won't know any better.

My prediction was wrong. He did not get in to a fight with anyone. While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, What Rustled behind Firepaw? The book said that it was just his friend Graypaw hunting and They both didn't notice the other cat was there. I had a connection. My friends have scared me lots of times before and most of the time they did it by accident because I ended up scaring them in the process. My second question was, How can Firepaw tell so much from just one sniff of her scent? I could not figure this out right away but then I inferred that since cats are such good smellers that they must just be born with it.
Firepaw was hunting a thrush when he heard a rustling noise behind him. His prey scampered away while he got himself ready for what he thought was going to be a battle. He climbed up a tree and right when he saw the body of a cat emerge from the bracken he lept in to action. When he landed on the back of the cat he instantly smelled it's scent and realized that it was just his buddy Grawpaw hunting for his clan. They stopped fighting and helped each other hunt. Then Graypaw had to go deliver a message so Firepaw was on his own. That's when he smelled a she-cat whom he thought was a rogue because he didn't recognize her scent. He said that from just smelling her that he could tell that she was tired, hungry, sick and in an ugly mood.

I am reading Warriors Into the Wild By Erin Hunter. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict that Rusty will save Thunderclan and stop Shadowclan from becoming too powerful. Also I have a question. Why is Shadowclan becoming so powerful?

While I was reading I had some questions. First, What fire will save Thunderclan? That confused me a little because one of the cats said that fire is feared by all the clans so how can it save them? Second, Why did the other cat attack him? Maybe he was just playing around. Third, Will he join the clan? The book said that he joins the clan! Fourth, Why is that tabby being so loud and rude? It's probably because all the cats said that a kittypet can't hunt or fight or take care of them selves with out their twolegs or owners. I don't know why they think that because it's not like they watch all the different cats every day to see if they can do all that stuff or if they can only lie around and purr all day. Alright! My prediction was right because I predicted that Rusty or Firepaw now would save the clan because when he steps into the sunlight his fur looks like fire.
