I am reading Judy Moody by: Megan McDonald. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict that Frank Pearl whom Judy calls, " Frank eats paste Pearl, " will want to join the T.P. club because he'll think it's cool and he wants to do everything Judy does because he likes Judy.
My prediction was wrong! While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, What does she mean by animal breath names? Then I inferred that maybe she meant kids calling people names like Gorilla breath or Bug breath. My second question was, Why did Frank Pearl lie to Judy when he likes her? That's when I predicted that he did that so she would come to his party instead of her not coming because she was the only girl. Also I discovered that Frank only tasted paste once for a dare so he DOESN'T eat it !
Judy's dad found out about Frank's party invitation to Judy and made her go to the party. Judy thought she wouldn't like it when she got there because she was the only girl but at the end when all the boys had left Frank showed Judy his hundreds of collections and saw that he was actually pretty cool. Also she got some cool rocks as party favors because Frank's mom miscalculated and ran out of baby Slinky's.

ReplyDeleteGood job. I like that you inferred your answers and that they were questions that made you think about the character's actions. One part of your response confused me though. You said your prediction was wrong, but didn't tell me anything more. What part of your prediction was wrong? What happened that made you find that out?
Try to add in some connections! You're reading journal is a lot more descriptive than your blog so I know you can do more!
