I am reading Judy Moody saves the world by: Megan McDonald. Before I read I have a prediction. I predict that Judy will be healing the world and recycling. I think this because, on the cover she is holding a sign in the picture and is wearing boxers that say RECYCLE all over them.
My prediction was right! She is healing the world by recycling and making food into compost. While I was reading I had a few questions. My first question was, Didn't Judy used to have troll eyes not anaconda eyes? Then I inferred that maybe the author wanted to change it up a bit. My second question was, What does fink mean? The question was kind of hard so I decided to ask my dad. He said that it meant someone who is sneaky and can't be trusted. Then I had a connection. In the book there is a contest on who can make the coolest crazy strip ( type of band aid ). The winner gets roller blades. My school is entering a contest for google. Who can make the coolest google logo. The prize is a college scholar ship and $2000 for the school.

ReplyDeleteInteresting post. That seems very curious that the author would want to "change it up a bit". What do you think about that? So is there a theme for the "crazy strip" like the Doodle for Google? I like that you made a connection, good thinking. I think you have the basics down pretty well, so I would like to see you go deeper with your posts by exploring the characters more. You could also start exploring the author's reason for doing things (similar to what you did in this post).
